We believe strongly in the power of private coaching and individual one-on-one attention to address your specific needs and push you to the next level. We always strive to balance helping you feel great while pushing and motivating you to become the best dancer you can be.
Julie Gill, Studio Owner - Downtown Broadway & Bannock Lessons
Julie took her first ballet class at the age of 17, having had no prior dancing experience. She was not athletic or graceful in the slightest, including being unable to touch her toes, or walk up stairs without tripping. Regardless, ballet captured her imagination immediately. She earned a dance minor from Pace University, trained in both youth summer intensive programs and adult programs, and studied privately for over a decade.
She became a teacher when her private coach fell ill and passed her private coaching business along to Julie. Owning, creating, and instructing at Broche Ballet is a dream-come-true for her, and an incredible privilege to be able create a place for adults to learn ballet.
Jessica Larson, Ballet Instructor - Englewood Lessons
Jessica has been dancing since she was 4 years old and has been teaching ballet for kids and adults for about 15 years. Growing up was focused mainly of ballet and jazz dancing and emerged into modern through college, dancing in both the studio and college companies for professional level performances.
She trained under Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo’s Gilbert Reed and partook in San Diego City Ballet and Ballet Pacifico’s Summer intensive programs in high school.
She choreographed several pieces and continuing to help encourage ballet education through the scholarship honoring her mom.
